Top 5 Mini Golf Courses in Adelaide
There you are. Standing on the green. Looking down the mini fairway. Golf club gripped. Feet strategically placed. Waddling from side to side – getting ready to putt! The windmill is turning, the sun is shining and your friends are cheering… No matter how many times I’ve played a round of mini golf I still get excited when I stand on the first hole. Because we’re mini golf fans we thought we’d whip up a list of top 5 mini golf courses in Adelaide…
1. The Beachouse
Located in Glenelg, a popular beach suburb, The Beachouse is a prime location for a spot of golf! The course is outdoors – so you get fresh air and sun when you play. It also overlooks the beach, so you can enjoy the view when you’re not playing. The beautifully constructed course got a glow up over COVID, and even has a choo choo train that weaves around it.
The strategically placed water feature helps calm the pressure of the putt too! A perfect activity for a team work event, date night or arvo with friends or family.
The Beachouse has a tap-card system which makes it easy for you to load up and play without fiddling around with cash. Buy online now.
2. Adelaide Shores
Not too far from The Beachouse you’ll find West Beach Mini Golf. The course has a nautical theme with sharks, turtles and pirates as, just some, of the obstacles. Children under 15 pay $9 a round, while adults pay $11. $38 will get you a family pass (two adults and two children under 15).
Drummond Mini Golf is a little way down the road on Tapleys Hill Road. Prices are slightly different there at $4 for kids, $7 for adults and $16 for a family.

3. Dunes Mini Golf
If you’re looking for a day getaway with the family – Dunes Mini Golf is a good option. The course is in Victor Harbour – an hour drive from the city. A few challenging holes, but easy enough for all ages to have a go! It can get a bit windy there so we recommend taking some warm clothes in case it does. There are some shady bits for super hot days too. $8.50 for adults, $8 for students and concession, $7.50 for kids under 12 and only $5 for a second round.

4. Hahndorf Mini Golf
Another great course if you want to get out of the city. Hahndorf is a charming little town known for its German architecture and artisanal food. You’ll find it about an hour away from Adelaide city. In a town filled with wineries and pubs , the Hahndorf Mini Golf course is a good spot for the families with kids. The course features some challenging holes and obstacles but is a lot of fun! You’ll pay $6 a round here and they’re open all year around (except Christmas day.)

This course is located outdoor on the beach front. There are nine holes that weave around the complex. The complex also has games, rides, a ferris wheel and (of course) a water slide – if you fancy doing a bit more than just a round of golf. Mini golf tickets are just $5.
