28 Mar Top 5 Romantic Spots in Adelaide
Last week we shared our Best Date Night Ideas in Adelaide. This week we’re sharing our top 5 romantic spots in Adelaide. Romance is defined as excitement or mystery associated with love. And we’ve carefully selected Adelaide’s most mysterious and romantic spots just for you…
Hallets Cove Look Out
We all know Hallet Cove as the coastal suburb South of the city (21km away). The suburb has it’s on conservation park where over 1,700 Aboriginal artefacts have been found. Not far from there is the popular board walk with glacial pavements along the northern cliff tops. Aside from all of this Hallet Cove has simply stunning views! Right next to the Boatshed Cafe there’s a big, green rolling hill that overlooks Hallets Cove beach. On a clear day, you can see for miles into the big blue. The rugged cliffs, green grass and endless blue sea make the Hallets Cove Look Out point one of our top romantic spots in Adelaide. Pack a picnic and enjoy the view on warm rug together with your partner. Stick around for the sunset to make it extra romantic.
Mount Lofty Summit at Sunset
As Adelaide’s highest peek, the Mount Lofty Summit at sunset offers views like no other place in Adelaide. If you’re up for a hike, leave late and arrive at the top in time for the sunset or skip the walk and drive up for a meal and sunset views. In summer time, the sunset is 7:37pm.
The Adelaide Botanic Gardens
The botanic gardens have made an appearance in out blogs a few times now. We just can’t help it! This place is not only unique, beautiful, interesting and historical – it’s super romantic. Bundling up a picnic and heading down to the garden on a Sunday afternoon is romantic and a relaxing way to start your week.
White Feather Red Winery
This winery it truly like no other. Everything about it is mysterious and unique – what romance is all about. The fact that the winery doesn’t do much to advertise themselves keeps the mystery alive and the location and owner make it really unique. The eclectic decor couples with exquisite views and delicious wine makes this place really romantic. They have a pizza oven too in case you get peckish.
Another location that’s come up a couple times in our blogs. This charming little town has Paris’ romance with Germany’s charm (and food). Just taking a stroll along the main road is romantic. Especially in Autumn when the opulent orange and burgundy leaves cover the trees and pavement. Most restaurants and pubs have fires on the go which ticks our box for romance! We recommend a Sunday arvo visit to Hahndorf for a meal, beers and a loved up stroll.
